About the project

The old website was tired and much in need of being updated. The previous developers were not responsive to requests for website amendments and changes. The website was also going offline due to be poorly maintained.

Following a review of their the above website, it was agreed that a new website would be developed to better suit the needs of the business and their end users. A custom design & build, deploying the WordPress content management system (CMS) for ease of use and the ability to be integrate it with the Moodle open source learning management system (LMS). We also integrated the website with a third party piece of software called Turnitin, this is widely used by Universities & Educational organisations for similarity or plagiarism checks.

The website has been further developed to include an online payments & registration system where previously this was a manual task. Further updates and changes are planned for 2018 to further develop the APEAS website and make the user/candidate experience a better one.
